Privacy | LiquidPDF Reader

We design LiquidPDF to keep your documents on your device. This page explains what we process locally, what limited analytics we collect, and how to use the app with privacy in mind.

On-device processing

PDF import, reflow, and OCR happen locally in your browser or installed PWA. Your files do not leave your device during reading.

Optional analytics

If you provide a GA4 measurement ID, we track anonymized page views and key events like CTA clicks and file uploads to understand feature usage. Disable by leaving the ID unset.

Data retention

Your library and reading progress stay in your browser storage. Clear site data to remove it. We do not run a hosted account database for the core reader.

Third-party services

We avoid paid trackers. GA4 is optional and behind an environment flag. No personal data is sold or shared.

How LiquidPDF works

Import a PDF, watch it reflow into responsive sections, and keep everything on-device for offline reading. No account required.

FAQs

Do my PDFs upload to a server?

No. The reader processes files locally. Keep backups if the device is wiped.

Can I opt out of analytics?

Yes. If the GA4 ID is not set in the environment, analytics scripts are not loaded.

How do I delete my data?

Clear the site data or uninstall the PWA. This removes your library and progress.
